One day while enjoying a glass of bubbly on a restaurant patio in Arizona, we discussed what we liked and didn’t like about wines and champagne. The frustration that day of trying to get our champagne bottle back into the ice bucket made us exclaim, "This! We can never get the bottle back in the ice, plus it drips all over!"
This sparked an idea for the bottle chiller. We grabbed a pen and a napkin, and like all new ideas, it started with a scribble. We outlined what we believed to be the ideal design for maintaining a bottle's chill without any drips. This way, we could focus on the sunset rather than our increasingly damp legs and tabletops.
Over the next two years, we dedicated ourselves to bending and welding stainless steel, aiming for a bottle chiller that met restaurant-quality standards. We conducted tests on cooling effects and temperatures, visited numerous stores to measure bottle dimensions, and then progressed to 3D-printing components to evaluate sizes and shapes. After finalizing our design, we proceeded with the injection molding setup for production. The next step involved color testing to match the elegance of restaurant ice buckets, and once we made our selection, we took a leap of faith and placed our first production order.
Here we are now, exploring whether anyone else might be interested in the ultimate bottle accessory.
